7TH INTERNATIONAL PUŁAWY &VIOLIN COMPETITION

The Tadeusz Wroński Foundation for Violin announces the 7^TH International Puławy & Violin Competition, which will be held on August 9-11, 2022 in Puławy. The competition is open to violinists of all nationalities. The auditions will be held at the House of Chemist in Puławy. The event will be held in three age categories: group I – primary school students up to 14 years of age, group II – school and high school students up to 19 years of age. Group III – students and graduates. All groups will present their skills during three stages of auditions. A total prize pool is of approx. PLN 25,000, including the Grand Prix of the Competition, which will be a master violin, made especially for this Competition by an outstanding Polish violin maker – Michał Różak. The prestigious award in the form of a concert with the Philharmonic in the artistic season 2022/23 was funded by Maestro Wojciech Rodek, Director of the Lublin Philharmonic. The final distribution of all prizes and distinctions will be made by the international jury of the competition chaired by prof. Sławomir Tomasik. The event is combined with the 7th International Festival Meeting the Master and the 7th International Tadeusz Wroński http://fundacjaskrzypce.pl/kurspulawy/ The jurors will be concerting violinists from Poland and abroad, winners of international violin and phonographic competitions. These virtuosos will also be lecturers of master classes during the course. Under their supervision, young adepts from Poland and abroad will be able to prepare for the 7th Puławy and Violin Competition. Join us!
