The SKRZYPCE Foundation announces the 1st Violin Competition „Paganini in Puławy”, which will be held on February 21-22, 2022 in Puławy. The competition is open to violinists of all nationalities. The auditions will be held at the I LO im. A. Czartoryski in Puławy. The Inaugural Concert and Laureates Concert will be held at the Pompeian Hall in Puławy. The event will be held in three age categories: group I – primary school students up to 14 years of age, group II – high school students up to 19 years of age. Group III – students and graduates. The Grand Prix of the Competition will be a master bow made by an outstanding Polish violin maker residing in Spain, Mrs. Magdalena Sapeta, who will make a bow especially for this Competition. The final distribution of all prizes and distinctions will be made by the international jury of the competition chaired by prof. Sławomir Tomasik. The jurors will be concert violinists from Poland and abroad, winners of international violin and phonographic competitions. These virtuosos will also be lecturers of master classes during the course. Under their supervision, young adepts from Poland and other countries will be able to prepare for the Paganini Competition in Puławy. You’re welcome!
